Two separate power pole collisions occurred this past week leaving some Blaine County, Idaho residents without electricity for various amounts of time.

On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at approximately 4:00 a.m., deputies from the Ketchum Police Divison of the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on Sage Road in the Warm Springs area of Ketchum, Idaho. Deputies discovered a power pole hanging over the hood of a 2020 Chevy Malibu on the north side of the road with power lines dangling five feet above the road.
