Press Release –Broken Headlight Leads to Felony Drug Arrest

On Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at approximately 10:17 p.m. Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop for a broken headlight on Hwy 75, approximately one mile north of Picabo Desert Rd, which resulted in a felony drug arrest.

Faviola Ruiz-Worthington, age 25 of Bellevue, Idaho, was charged with one felony count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine), I.C. 37-2732A(1), and one misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, I.C. 37-2734A(1). The drugs were located with the assistance of BCSO K9 Eric. Ruiz-Worthington is being held in the Blaine County Detention Center pending arraignment in Magistrate Court at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
