On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at approximately 7:50 am, the Blaine County Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET) executed a search warrant at a residence in Bellevue, Idaho based upon an ongoing investigation.
Multiple controlled substances including cocaine, methamphetamine, and approximately 6.2 lbs. of marijuana were found. Detectives also located paraphernalia, large amounts of cash, and evidence of drug trafficking. The occupants of the residence, Kevin Howard Bothwell, age 42 of Bellevue, Idaho, and Keenan Augustus Hotz, age 30 of Hailey, Idaho, were both arrested on felony drug charges. 
Bothwell was charged with two felonies, Drug Trafficking, I.C. 37-2732B(1), and Possession of a Controlled Substance, I.C. 37-2732(C)(1), and two misdemeanors, Possession of Paraphernalia, I.C. 37-2734A1, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Non-Narcotic, I.C. 37-2732(c)(3).
Hotz was charged with two felonies, Aiding and Abetting Drug Trafficking I.C. 37-2732B(1), 18-204, Aiding and Abetting Possession of a Controlled Substance, I.C. 37-2732(C)(1), 18-204, and three misdemeanors, Possession of Paraphernalia, I.C. 37-2734A1, Frequenting Drug Premises, 37-2732(D), and Possession of a Controlled Substance Non-Narcotic, I.C. 37-2732(c)(3).
Bothwell and Hotz were arraigned in Blaine County Magistrate Court on Friday, November 6, 2020 where Bothwell’s bond was set at $8,000, and Hotz’s bond was set at $3,500. Both were later released on their bonds.
