On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at approximately 4:29 p.m., a Blaine County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on Zinc Spur Rd off of State Highway 75, north of Hailey, Idaho.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Kevin Joseph Flynn, age 42 of Hailey, Idaho, had a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear on a previous charge. During a search incident to his arrest, a controlled substance and an open container of alcohol were located.
Flynn was arrested on the warrant and additionally charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Cocaine, I.C. 37-2732(C)(1), misdemeanor Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, I.C. 23-505(2), and misdemeanor Driving without Privileges, I.C. 49-301.
Flynn is in the custody of the Blaine County Detention Center pending arraignment in Magistrate Court Wednesday afternoon.
