On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at approximately 8:16 a.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 20 near Stanton Camp Loop, approximately 2.1 miles west of State Highway 75.
The crash scene investigation determined that Aiden Lee Lock Durdle, age 19 of Bellevue, Idaho, was traveling westbound on U.S. 20, in a green 2002 Subaru Forester, when the vehicle drifted over the westbound shoulder. Durdle overcorrected, lost control, and the vehicle rolled several times, landing on its roof in the middle of the highway and blocking both lanes.
Durdle received serious injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center. Durdle, who was the sole occupant in the vehicle, was not wearing a seatbelt.
The Subaru received substantial damages and was towed from the scene. No citations were issued in this matter.
