On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at approximately 8:06 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies performed a traffic stop on State Highway 75 near East Fork Rd.
Upon investigation, Karola Jazmin Huaire, age 28 of Hailey, Idaho, was arrested and charged with felony Excessive Driving Under the Influence, I.C. 18-8004(1)(A), misdemeanor Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, I.C. 23-505, and cited for Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit, I.C. 49-654(2).
Huaire has two prior DUI convictions from 2017 and 2019, making her third arrest a felony. Huaire is in the custody of the Blaine County Detention Center pending arraignment in Magistrate Court Thursday afternoon.
