On Saturday, September 23, 2023, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop on State Highway 75 near milepost 127, south of Ketchum, Idaho.
Upon investigation, Shaylee M. Scherer, age 31 of Twin Falls, Idaho, was arrested and charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, I.C. 37-2732(C)(1), misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance Less Than Three Ounces – Marijuana, I.C. 37-2732(C)(3), misdemeanor Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol, I.C. 23-505, misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, I.C. 37-2734A(1), and cited for Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit, I.C. 49-654(2).
Scherer was arraigned in Magistrate Court on September 24, 2023, and later released on a $2,500 bond.
