On Friday, October 6, 2023, at approximately 10:09 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a firearm being discharged into a vehicle’s tire at a residence on Baseline Dr. in Bellevue, Idaho.
Deputies determined that after a verbal argument, Jason David Conley, age 51 of Bellevue, had discharged a firearm at a tire of a 2011 red Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to stop the vehicle from leaving the driveway. The Jeep was occupied by a 21-year-old female, also of Bellevue. The driver was not injured.
Conley initially failed to comply with officers but was later arrested and charged with felony Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm at a Dwelling House, Occupied Building, Vehicle, or Mobile Home, I.C. 18-3317. Conely remains in the custody of the Blaine County Detention Center pending arraignment in Magistrate Court Tuesday afternoon.
BCSO deputies were assisted in this incident by officers from the Bellevue Marshal’s Office and the Idaho State Police.
