On Friday, November 3, 2023, at approximately 3:44 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop on State Highway 75 and Serenade Lane, south of Ketchum, Idaho.
Upon investigation, controlled substances were found in the vehicle. Thomas Scarnegi IV, age 41 of Hailey, Idaho, was arrested and charged with one felony count of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine, I.C.37-2732(C)(1), and one misdemeanor count of Possession of a Controlled Substance Less than 3 ounces-Marijuana, I.C. 37-3732(C)(3).
Scarnegi remains in the custody of the Blaine County Detention Center pending arraignment in Magistrate Court Monday afternoon.
